Manisha's meditation sessions helped me overcome lifelong anxiety and sleep issues. When I began, I was struggling with a health condition that modern medicine couldn’t explain. Manisha’s guided meditations has given me new perspectives about myself. With her calming voice she offers instructions in helping to clear my mind and reminding me to be less judgmental with myself. I like that she also gives different visuals to ease our busy thoughts. Her weekly sessions have been a springboard to a more regular meditation practice for me.

I have been attending Manisha’s classes for almost a year now and have found some positive improvements. I had been going through some health issues and life changes and wanted to try meditation within a holistic framework of trying to figure things out, something which only I could do. The library class is 30 minutes long, in a non threatening, calm environment and I find classes on Monday are a great way to start the week off. The breathing and relaxation has helped me not only focus on my personal inner environment but also appreciate that many people are also trying to figure things out in their lives and we can all be kind and supportive as a part of that journey. Meditation is a powerful tool and as I seem to have been saying “ “everyone needs a bit of meditation in their life”. Manisha is a skilled instructor and mindful that she needs continue to tweek her classes to make them the best they possibly can be. She takes criticism constructively and genuinely cares about people in her community. I am very grateful to have meditation and Manisha in my life and local community. Thank you Manisha!

Before Manisha, I struggled to find and adhere to a workable meditation practice. Like many others in these parts, I’ve found it difficult to prioritize self-care amid the conflicting priorities of fast-paced, high-demand work, home life, and family obligations. I’ve been further hampered by a Type-A, perfectionist personality and a “busy mind.” Manisha’s meditation classes have been a liberating revelation. The ACTIVE nature of her guided practice makes meditation more accessible for me. But more importantly, there is something about Manisha herself that keeps me coming back for more — her calm manner, soothing voice, and gentle encouragement are a balm. I actually find the practice joyful! I look forward to each session, and have even been motivated to practice at home. If you too have floundered with past attempts at meditation, I highly recommend Manisha.

Since I go to the mediation class which is guided by Manisha Kumar I feel more energized, I can focus more on my work. Most important the trigger which distracted me often in the past has no more power.
